The Four Gospels
No matter what background we come from, if we get to know Jesus, as shown in these four gospels, our lives will be greatly blessed and even transformed - never to be the same! Get to know the One whose life, death, resurrection, and teachings can save us from eternal loss, and give us hope and eternal life, when we accept Him by faith! In the study of the gospels of Jesus Christ, written in the first century AD, we can get to know God and His teachings more intimately. When we study with an open and honest heart to know who God really is, He will reveal Himself to us in powerful ways! Our lives will never be the same as we encounter who Jesus really is, from His teachings as found in these four gospels! May God bless you and draw you nearer to Him as you study the contents of the four gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
The Gospel of Mark
Mark is the shortest of all four gospels (just 16 chapters) and it was also likely the earliest of them to be written (estimated between A.D. 55-65). The language style of Mark is quick and to the point, but also very effective. May you be richly blessed as you study this lesson series through the gospel of Mark!
Note: This particular series was recorded before an ESL audience in South Korea. So, you will likely come across some references to the culture and language needs of the immediate audience. However, I trust you will find the overall materials suitable for any English audience! Be Blessed!

The Gospel of John
The gospel of John was written by the Apostle John around 60-90 AD, likely from Ephesus. It stands uniquely alone among the four gospels in that it is not considered "synoptic," meaning "seeing the same thing," since Matthew, Mark, and Luke repeat a lot of the same things, just with more or less detail, and some slight differences of wording, etc. John's gospel takes a more unique approach. The book shows the Divinity of Christ Jesus and the author focuses upon God's love. Eight miracles, and eight "I Am" statements are found in this gospel. John also records the three passover events Jesus attended, revealing how His public ministry lasted a mere three and one half years. In this gospel you'll find precious dialogues and prayers which Jesus had with others and with God. May you enjoy, be blessed, and brought nearer to Jesus by the study of it!
